Novos registros, ecologia e conservação de Pristimantis moro (Anura: Strabomantidae) na Costa Rica

Pristimantis moro é uma perereca encontrada nas florestas da Costa Rica, Panamá e Colômbia. Sua história natural é pouco conhecida devido aos registros limitados disponíveis e ao seu hábito esquivo, frequentando a vegetação nos estratos médio e superior da floresta. Na Costa Rica, essa espécie é conhecida por três registros, o último datado de 1978. Neste trabalho, relatamos a redescoberta dessa espécie e fornecemos novos registros na floresta caribenha da Costa Rica. Modelamos sua distribuição potencial na Costa Rica e no Panamá. Embora atualmente seja considerada uma espécie de menor preocupação, acreditamos que ameaças significativas possam estar afetando as florestas onde a espécie ocorre.
