Pristimantis moro is a tree frog found in the forests of Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia. Its natural history is poorly known due to the limited records available and its elusive habit, frequenting vegetation in the middle and upper forest strata. In Costa Rica, this species is known from three records, the last being in 1978. Herein, we report the rediscovery of this species and provide new records in the Caribbeanforest of Costa Rica. We model its potential distribution in Costa Rica and Panama. Although it is currently considered a species of least concern, we believe that significant threats could be affecting the forests where the species occurs.
