Participation, cooperation and project: reflections on different participatory practices and their contemporary distortions

This study starts from the experiences and debates which took place after the crisis of modernism to address the different understandings of the concepts of participation, cooperation, and project. In this sense, Sergio Ferro adds a focus on production and construction site studies to this debate. Thinking about how these issues still reflect in contemporary production and in the neoliberal economy, I offer the example of incremental houses by the Elemental office as a point of distortion to the concept of participation.
