      Abstract

      In this article, we would like to expose of the conclusions of two on - going research es about, from the one hand, the institutionality of participation in Ecuador, and, from the other hand, the materiality of Ecuadorian State in the reform context; we aim to inquire into everyday logics in State or public administration and its concrete effects on the reality and the scope of State democ ratic reform. We consider these two topics as key aspects of the Ecuadorian State democratic refoundation in political change contexts. We will discuss the potentials and limits of the implementation of a “new” state model.
