Abstract

Discuss the relation between the ideology of the technological rationality and the narcissistic personality based on the theory of the Frankfurt School. This relation is historically situated in order to explain some of the transformations of certain social institutions which mediate the relation between individual and culture. The possible influence of those transformations on the personality constitution is also investigated.
