Soi dialogique intersectionnel : une avancée dans le débat sur les processus de constitution du soi

Cet essai théorique présente le Soi dialogique intersectionnel (SDI), un modèle qui intègre la théorie du Soi dialogique (TSD) et l’épistémologie intersectionnelle afin d’expliquer comment les oppressions liées au genre, à la race, à la classe et à la maternité traversent la constitution du soi au sein d’organisations à hiérarchie rigide. La TSD décrit la multivocalité interne, mais n’examine pas les forces qui légitiment ou font taire des voix. L’approche intersectionnelle comble cette lacune en considérant ces marqueurs comme des dimensions co-constitutives du pouvoir. Un entretien go-along avec une mère policière militaire a inspiré l’affinement conceptuel ; aucune donnée empirique n’est présentée. Le SDI met en lumière trois dynamiques : (1) légitimation inégale des voix centrales, (2) silenciation intersectionnelle des voix périphériques et (3) re-signification dialogique qui soutient résistance et transformation. L’article expose les fondements théoriques, détaille le SDI et discute ses implications théoriques et analytiques, offrant des pistes pour des politiques inclusives. Il conclut par des recommandations pour des études multicentriques visant à tester et à perfectionner ce construct.
