Abstract

The problem of the relation between Psychology and Art is considered with reference to the limits of the field structured by the plastic arts and originated by the specificity of the"human order". Pareyson, Battaille and Merleau-Ponty lay the foundation of an idea of work of art as a reflexive field asking the interpreter to be opened to the new, thence alterity, a fundamental attitude for research in Social Psychology of Art.
