Abstract

This article aims to present some thoughts and criticisms about the theories of public policy analysis, focusing on the role of subjectivity in the process of decision-making and power struggles. It presents the main theoretical models of this field that are used in Brazil and subsidies to Psychosociology understanding of issues of subjectivity and power, as well as some of their intersections. In conclusion, the article presents some points to be considered in the approximation of the knowledge areas.
