Abstract

Questioning the intersection between psychoanalisis and adolescence, and fundamentally sustained on the clinical work, this text presents the product of a research that has been carried out for at least 20 years, setting its fundamental axes: the adolescence is a choice of the subject which is paied with the desconnection from the parental authority, as Freud puts it in 1905, and supposes castration. In that way, the relationship between adolescence and psicosis is tackled. The text explores still the possible ways to allow the adolescent subject a change, taking as an example the caracter Melchior in Frank Wedekind's play and the pacient George, as described by the psychoanalyst Charles Sarnoff.
