In this context, this paper aims to describe the existing PPNeg and mediations between this and the Process of Technological Planning (PTP) of academic spinoff. From the use of action research, methods and techniques for managing product development and principles of operations management, strategy researchers have identified the decisions taken through the stages of planning, seeking to understand the relationship between business planning and technological planning their academic spinoff. As a contribution perceives the structuration of a methodology, represented in a pictogram, able to guide researchers and managers in defining their business models and initial definition of operations strategies.  As a limit its reach, we highlight the fact that this study was not thorough in identifying the resources involved in the consolidation of the business models of those organizations and not explore the restriction faced by entrepreneurial teams throughout the process of consolidation of academic spinoff.
