THE STRATEGICAL ALLIANCE AS FACTOR OF COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES IN IT COMPANIES - A EXPLORATORY STUDY

This paper aims to argue the characteristics of the strategical alliances that keeps a relationship in the attainment of competitive advantages under the perception of the managers in order to figure out a answer to the following question: has as goal to show for the not participant companies of this type of cooperative arrangement the benefits that can elapse of this relationship. The exploratory paper was developed by means of field research on the basis of application of questionnaire, constructed with two scales, on competitive advantages and strategical alliances, applied in TI Companies. The sample reached 121 companies, of diverse transports, distributed for some States of Brazil. The gotten data had been analyzed by the application of the technique of canonic correlation and the results signal that organization, focus in mutual profits and cooperation are elements that favor advantages competitive, especially related to the rise of the operational efficiency, rise of the power of reply for the agility and flexibility, potential of pioneer, innovation and managemental capacity.Downloads
