Abstract

The supply chain management has rapidly become an important source of competitive advantage. All current and modern theories of management point to one direction; competition no longer works, cooperation is a process much more efficient. Facing new challenges, organizations have tried to rethink their competitive strategies beyond organizational boundaries. This debate requires careful understanding of how all the system components interact and how the whole system interacts with the external environment. This article aims to analyze the distribution system of the pharmaceutical industry. A systemic approach is used for the development of a new possible configuration. The advantages of the proposed model is discussed and the results are estimated.
