Perspectivas seculares e religiosas na imprensa de mulheres no Irã

Este artigo visa analisar como as noções de modernidade e secularidade incidiram sobre o movimento de mulheres no Irã antes e após a Revolução de 1979, considerando as discussões sobre liberdade sexual e igualdade de gênero na imprensa de mulheres. As revistas selecionadas foram Dānish (Conhecimento) e Zan-e Ruz (Mulheres de Hoje), Payam-e Zan (Mensagem das Mulheres), Payam-e Hajar (Mensagem de Hagar) e Zanan (Mulheres), publicadas entre o início do século XX e o início do século XXI. Ao final, proponho uma discussão sobre como a relação entre secularidade e religiosidade não representa uma oposição, mas são elementos que se constituem mutuamente no ativismo local.
