Abstract

This article aims to make the concept of homeland present in the work of German philosopher Ernst Bloch a reading key for african perspective, according to Joseph Ki-Zerbo. It is believed that the aforementioned prospect leads on an original “idea of Africa” which can be synthesized in Bloch’s notion of homeland: the place of return for humanity no longer reified.
