Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to understand the importance of the visual language in the german neokolonialbewegung. In this article, we privilege the advertisements produced by the Reichskolonialbund (RKB) in the time of the Third Reich. We attempt to comprehend in which way the African stereotypes were formulated or reasserted by the visuality contained in those propagandas and the extent to which the speech presented in those sources suited as a vehicle of persuasion and reiteration of the RKB goals.
