Abstract

The text intends to do an analysis of Schopenhauer's aesthetics contained in the third book of his work "The World as will and representation" and in the supplement to this work (added in the second publication in 1844). So we take as guide the concept "denial of will", which relates his aesthetics to his ethics contained in the fourth book.
