As of the 90's, with the development of computer systems, the varied alternatives of communication presented by the Internet (International Computer Network) have become an important tool for population research. These potential are basically associated with the speed of information exchange and with the large number of users who have access to this means. The main goal of this review was to check how the World Wide Web is being used to promote nutritional education and to obtain data of food intake, and the advantages and disadvantages presented by this means.Downloads
