This study aimed to establish normative values for future evaluations of military of the Aeronautics. Cardio-respiratory fitness, flexibility, and muscular resistance tests were performed by 1014 militaries, being 29 females and 985 males of a Military Unit of the Aeronautics. The following statistical procedures and analysis of the data were performed: application of descriptive statistics with average and shunting line standard; analysis from norms of reference and presentation of the results of the performance of the males in percentiles. The results indicate that the militaries possess average levels of physical performance, and the males presented a superior performance when compared with the females, on the basis of specific norms. Cardio-respiratory fitness had the best score of the motor abilities measured. In addition, physical fitness test norms were elaborated for this population.Downloads
