Abstract

The essay presents photos in three different points of proximity from daily comings and goings, captured by an observer’s sensitive view, the text allows us to reflect on the power of view, especially children’s view, inherent and curious about discoveries. This narrative describes the experiences of Mrs. Áurea, an elementary school teacher from third grade, who said “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Which is explored during science classes, where the students observe a white rose cycle at the school’s garden and are encouraged to draw that rose from different points of view of time and space, linking present and past and setting recognized marks in future.
