We request that manuscripts reporting research involving animals or human beings in Brazil provide information regarding prior approval by a Research Ethics Committee within the CEP/CONEP System (https://plataformabrasil.saude.gov.br/login.jsf), and clearly state the benefits resulting from the study.

Funded research must state the source of the funding used, as well as any conflicts of interest involved in the work. Our editorial team and reviewers reserve the right to refuse to review or publish manuscripts due to potential conflicts of interest.

If the manuscript is the result of dissertations, theses, or papers presented at events, this information must be included in the text to be published.
