II International Symposium on Food Research: papers may be published in Ingesta journal
From December 4th to 6th 2019, the Laboratory of Historical Studies on Drugs and Food (LEHDA-USP), in partnership with Comida na Cabeça and Museu Paulista, will present the II International Symposium on Food Research: production and consumption circuits at the Nicolau Sevcenko Auditorium of the University of São Paulo. After a first edition last year, the symposium will have, in 2019, an expanded version, with the presence of foreign lecturers (such as Spanish anthropologist Jesús Contreras and French historian Bruno Laurioux) and a programme open to papers from researchers, graduates and postgraduate students in the fields of History, Sociology, Anthropology, and related sciences.
Papers must relate to the theme of at least one of the proposed groups and can be submitted in the form. Approved abstracts will be published in a special section on the symposium in the second volume of Ingesta journal, produced by LEHDA-USP and scheduled for release in December 2019. Authors who present their work during the event may also submit them, in article format, for the Scientific Committee's evaluation of the journal and publication in the second issue of the second volume, planned for the first semester of 2020.
