The image of the horse is one of the main iconographic representations printed in the coins issued by Carthage through the three centuries in which the NorthAfrican capital possessed its own coinage. Despite the apparent simplicity of the image, a more accurate analysis, methodologically different from the one usually employed, allows new explicative approaches of the type. In this work we present a reading and an interpretation proposal which escape the ones traditionally used.Descargas
