Abstract

Um this work we made a testament about methodology by teaching of proportions, in emphasis in the formation of the concept of proportionality, bringing consideration the fact of the proportional ratiocination to involve one structure of thinking too complex. With this worry we situations and making use the concepts that present neighboring relationship with proportions. That made possible the students to identify the proportionality like a relation of constant reason and to understand the inclusion of the two pairs of terms that constitute one proportion in the conjuncts dominion and image of the linear function, that is the patterns of invariability of the proportions.
