Preliminary report about study of the dental anaesthesia

Abstract

From a research in the literature concerning the dental 'block, the author concludes that TOSO’s technique it is the best, among the main kinds of anesthesia practiced trough the pterigo- palatine fossa. After a few considerations, he is certain that the method proposed will commend itself to all veterinary surgeons who have a little experience. He describes the instrumental employed in animal and human dental block, and he observes that little attention has been given to the question in veterinary dentistry. Finally, he presents the observations done at the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
