Abstract

The results of this investigation showed: a) the ducts choledocus proceeds from the union of the ramus principalis dexter and ramus principalis sinister; b) the ductus cysticus appears very little, as the gallbladder does, and it integrates the system of the ramus principalis dexter; c) the ramus medialis lobi dextri, the ramus dorsalis lobi dextri, the ramus processi caudati, the ramus lateralis lobi dextri and the ductus cysticus form the dorsomedial and ventrolateral roots and they are the main ductus of the system of the ramus principalis dexter; d) the system of the ramus principalis sinister is integrated, mainly, by the ramus medialis lobi sinistri, the rami intermedii lobi sinistri wich drain to the truncus intermediomedials and the truncus intermediolateralis — , the ramus lateralis lobi sinistri and the ramus lobi quadrati; e) each collector drains a determined hepatic region.
