The capacity of the stomach in thoroughbred horses

The stomach capacity of thoroughbred horses was measured in 4O adult animals, 20 males and 20 females. The average value obtained was 10.910 liters with a maximum capacity of 21.750 liters and a minimum of 5.700 liters in the males and for the females the results were 15.000 liters and 5.700 liters respectively. The statistical analysis revealed a significant difference related to the sex.Downloads
