An artificial medium for Cysticercus cellulosae scolex evagination was established. This medium composed by 2 (two) per cent of concentrated, purified and lyophilised bovine bile, when compared to similar media presented the highest percentage of evagination. It was also been established ideal temperature for the phenomenum to occur (45°C).Under the above conditions about 96 per cent of the scolex tested evaginated after 30 minutes of culture.Downloads
