For the determination of blood haemoglobin concentration there were examined blood samples from eighteen Zebu heifers (Guzera breed) borned and maintained in the Zootechny Experimental Station of Sertaozinho city — SP. The blood samples were collected monthly during thirtheen months and the blood haemoglobin concentration was determinated. The obtained values of the blood haemoglobin were statistically analyzed and revealed to exist a significant difference among the means values obtained during all the period; however the Tukey’s test showed that the observed difference was owed to the mean value of the blood haemoglobin, obtained from twenty months old animals.
