Human dermatophilosis in a two years old child is described.Lesions were characterized by thick scab localized at the parietalregion o f the head. The possibility o f the transmission by contacto f the child with dogs is discussed. The cultural, morphologicaland biochemical characterization o f the Dermatophilus congolensis,its “in vitro” sensibility to antibiotics outlined by the authors.
