45 days old Turkeys were randomly divided into four groups two of which were administered 605 mg of chromic oxide in gelatin capsules, daily, and the others two received it at 0,17% in the ration (on dry weight basis). The faeces were collected during 24 hours periods. It was concluded that the fluctuations in chromium oxide excretion, expressed in per cent, obtained in the two experiments — gelatin capsules x mixed in the ration — showed no significant differences being their values — 91,8%, 80,6% and 86,9%, 91,8%, respectively.
