Abstract

Speech delivered on the occasion of the tribute organized by the Institute of Brazilian Studies at the University of São Paulo in honor of the artist Tom Zé, in recognition of his body of work and his contribution to Brazilian culture. The ceremony was held on June 24, 2025, at the István Jancsó Auditorium, University City, Butantã campus.
