Abstract

This article gives particular attention to two deeply rooted evils that for some time have been eating away at the country's structures. regarding the question of education, it points out it points out the general decadence of primary, secundary, upper education, on the one hand, and, on the other, it calls attention to the danger that the preparation of incompetent professionals in all areas of activity represents to the daily life of the nation. Finally it calls for the need of adopting a global political education founded upon a new philosophy that would be able to invert the present trend of accomodation and imperfection that reigns in the country. In regard to ignorance of basic values of sociability, the author understands that this problem hinders social life as a whole; distorts values; degrades the level of relationship; exasdporetes the individual; and renders more difficult the survival of the weakest.
