Abstract

This study discusses some technical discoveries that are directly related to typography and others that are not directly related, although they are connected to its history. This will permit us to present data that question the gap that lies between the printed image the object it represents. For this verification, I observed the uses and purposes of reproductions over the years as well as their nature when depicted graphically. Reproductions are essential to an apprehension of art but at the same time they cause interpretative errors in assessing the nature of the objects they reproduce.
