The autopsy prevalence of Trypanosoma cruzi infection in Triangulo Mineiro (State of Minas Gerais, Brazil)
Abstract
The prevalence of Trypanosoma cruzi infection was analysed in 2690 autopsies performed in the Triângulo Mineiro area (Central Brazil, State of Minas Gerais); 38.84% of the patients were infected. No decline of this infection during the last years was observed. These findings are discussed and compared with those of the literature.Downloads
