Efficacy of albendazole in the treatment of enterobiasis
Abstract
Albendazole was shown to be very effective in the treatment of enterobiasis. A cure rate of 100% was noticed, when a single dose of 10 mg/kg was given to 29 children. The drug was quite well tolerated by all recipients. This trial has brought additional evidence of the efficacy of albendazole as an antihelminthic agent, contributing to the proper establishment of its spectrum of activity.Downloads
