Abstract

This paper focuses on some consequences of contemporary environmental crises on the architect professional profile, education in architecture and, finally, on the curriculum of architecture degrees. Our discussion is based on the opinions and experiences of a group of teachers responsible for the Architecture and Urbanism Course of the Engineering School of São Carlos (EESC-USP, SP, Brazil). The interpretation of their concerns offers a set of issues which witnesses the complex problematic nature of greening curricula.
