Abstract

The article deals with the industrial architecture built in Brazil in the period from 1880 to 1950. It approaches the architecture of plants and its attached constructions - houses, hospitals, schools, etc. -, investigating the occurrence of elements of the classic language and the modified and incomplete form as these elements are appropriate.
