This work concerns a descriptive research with a qualitative approach which aimed to identify nursing diagnoses in high-risk pregnant women based on Orem's self-care theory. The following nursing diagnoses were identified: deficit of liquid volume, anxiety, altered family process, handicapped communication, handicapped physical mobility, among others. The results showed the importance of the nursing process execution supported on an assistance pattern, for the identification of nursing diagnoses as well as the feasibility of the patient's engagement in self-care.Downloads
