Abstract

The authors utilized Rickelmall's Bio-Psycho-Social Linguistics Interaction Model and Laing's lnterpersonal Perception Theory categories to classify and describe an interaction situation, supposing that these theoretical frameworks were compatible. They concluded that, in despite of some identified convergent theoretic aspects, their practical application evidenced substantive differences, derived from philosophical basis, that raised difficulties or objections to their concomitant use.
