An estimate of the inheritability of juvenile diabetes in a Brazilian population

The inheritability of liability to juvenile diabetes in a Brazilian population is estimated from parent-offspring correlation. The high value of the estimate, 0.9, suggests that genetic factors are the most important causative agents of the disease in this population.Downloads
