Live-birth register and its importance to maternal and child care planning

With basic on a probabilistic sample of live births collected in maternities, an estimative of the proportion of live births registered was made. According to the Brazilian law, the register has to be done in an especific date and place, depending on the local area where the birth occurred. The year-base for this study was 1969.Downloads
