Abstract

This paper is concerned with showing the entrapment which has experienced the academy of tourism in their long-sought controversy or scientific disciplinarity of this thing called tourism; the neo-functionalist views that refunctionalized neo structural economist and productivist discourse official tourism; the proposal of a critical reflexive epistemology of tourism and a commitment to reshape the educational process should be encouraged where this kind of thinking in the future graduates of tourism.
