Abstract

This article evaluates the impact caused by tourism on the Cotijuba Islalnd according to its residents testimonies. The impacts is focused trought three distincts levels: economic, social and the environmental, since tourism influences directly these aspects along its process of development. It also brings out the sensibility of the residents of the island, in relation to the increase in the touristic a reception to outsiders.
