Abstract

It presents a reflection on the sustaintability of tourism and leisure policies the optics of the new dynamics of interrelations, with prominence for the importance of the cooperation and of the sense of collective action among the responsible agents for the social reality. It is emphasized the need of the organization and invigoration of the third section to, on the one hand to legitimate and qualify the public debate about the tourism the and leisure and on the other hand to enlarge the capacity of the organized civil society to influence in the governments' and market's decisions, to guarantee social cohesion around the policies and strategies of development of the tourism and leisure.

    Bacharel em Ciências Econômicas pela Unimontes-MG e mestre em Ciência Política pela UFMG. Publicou diversos artigos em revistas especializadas. Vencedor na categoria profissional do prêmio de monografia da Escola do Legislativo da Assembléia Legislativa de Minas Gerais em 1998. Consultor do Centro de Pesquisa e Planejamento do Turismo - CPTUR
