An occupational therapy intervention proposal for the treatment of anorexia nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa is an illness charaeterized by a ehronic evolution. To treat this pathology, there has been different kinds of proposals related to attendanee. Nevertheless, due to this multieausality, authors agree when discussed the neeessity for a multidiseiplinary approaeh, that ineludes nutritional and medical attention, psychotherapy and occupational therapy. The goal of this article is to present a proposal for intervention in Occupational Therapy for patients with anorexia nervosa. Based on the psychodynamic theory, the attention given is in a group mode and it is used body techniques and expression activities.
