Abstract

Bronchiectasis is an necrotic infection of the bronchial tubis and bronchiole that causes and come along with abnormal dilation ofthese aerial ways. It manifests by cough, fever, expectoration ofsuppurating and bad smelling secretion in abundant quantity (ROBBINS)7 . This work has the main to verify ifthe tube brochial desobstruct technics help bronchiectasis patients associating thorax mobilizaion in the secretion liberation. Colaborated with this study ten women, aged between 15 and 70 years, ali with the same pathology, attended in the Ambulatório de Fisioterapia Respiratória do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo. These people received a physiotherapic session, of about one hour. The session began with an inhalation together with bronchial hygienics maneuvers (posture drenaige, and vibrocompression), fallowed by thorax mobilization exercises. Before and after the session, we measured the vital sings, maximal inspiratory and expiratory pressures and vital capacity. The expectoration amount the patient expelled was measured by a scaled colletor. The research delineation chosen was the pré-teste and postteste applied in a group. Our data demonstrated variation in the parameters studied, shown by clinicai and functional improvements and that the kind of therapy studied didnT signify a physical overchange. The mean volume of secretion was 20 ml.
