Ethics and professional practice of the dental surgeon

Abstract

The author, who has worked for more than 35 years at IML-MG and is now a member os the CRO-MG Ethics Comission, notices an increasing number of denunciations adressed to that Comission. After such considerations, he thinks highly necessary that practioners belonging to the health area should be oriented in order to realize how responsible they are without, however, losing their autonomy and rights. He not only includes polemical subjects as professional secret, payment and the destination of the clinic file, while a legal document, but also mentions the ethical problem envolving the treatment of patients infected with the HIV.
