Abstract

Studies about the gradual putrification of tissue structure of the species Rattus novergicus, allow a systematic observation involving the autolitic phenomenae which takes place in the nucleus and in the cytoplasm. The observations were made ate 96 hours post-mortem (HPM) and the material collected was processed and stained with routine histological techniques - H.E. Compared to normal tissued of the same animal, was observed the presence of shadow cells and cariolisis in the liver, spleen, intestine and the muscle fibres of the tongue. Homogenization of the citoplasm was observed in the liver and in the muscle structure of the tongue. Especifically, it was found that the homogenization brought about chandes the Remak trabecular structure, together with the vacuuming of the lobules. In the lungs, the alveolus showed compaction originating a shapeless homogenization mixing with lacerations. In the spleen cromatolisis was observed and an alteration of the basophilia and acidophilia of the cells in relation to the staining. In the intestines there was swelling of the villus. The submucosa layer was practically disintegrated and stripped of the mucosa. The tongue and miocardic muscle structures were analised and it was reported that in the first, the isotropic and anisotropic strips were preserved. In the miocardic muscle, there was a nuclear swelling and greater preservation of the tissues.
