Resulting from seminars held by the Group of Chromatic Research of the Department of Plastic Arts at University of São Paulo since 2009, the book Reflexões sobre a cor (Reflections on color) was published in 2021. It consists of essays by different authors that problematize the chromatic phenomenon articulating different areas of knowledge, going through approaches of the physical, chemical, and physiological aspects of the experience with color, from modern to contemporary art. Unique in bringing together research that highlights chromatic issues, the publication is an unusual and thought-provoking structuring of studies that focuses on color.
