In his song "As Vitrines", Brazilian composer Chico Buarque tells the story of a man deeply in love who follows his beloved as she walks through the streets of a big city. He gets absolutely no response from her, not even a single clue that she's aware of his existence. Music and lyrics support each other in painting the highly ambiguous situation of such a hero who is able to see, even though he's not allowed to touch what he sees.Downloads
